This picture was taken in 1963 by at Newby Church in North Yorkshire,England. It has managed to stir up quite a bit of controversy. At first glance it looks like a set up or a double exposure. However, it has supposedly been analyzed and double exposure was ruled out. The image of what appears to be a monk of sorts has been estimated to be standing nine feet tall. There is no history of nine foot tall monks ever residing at the church.
