Real Ghost Pictures: Ohare Mansion’s Pink Lady

This ghost picture was taken in Greencastle, Indiana at an alleged haunted mansion known as Ohare Mansion. After hearing rumors of paranormal activity at the mansion, two long time friends decided to explore the mansion in hopes of documenting some evidence of ghosts. The picture above seems to show a clear image of a ghostly woman (pink in color) in one of the windows of the haunted mansion. This image was also captured on the video footage shot that night and appears on the negatives as well. Guy Winters is the friend named for capturing this spooky evidence and stands by his story that the picture is indeed a real ghost picture. The photo of “The Pink Lady” has been featured on television news shows and has been subjected to heavy photo analysis. All of which have concluded that the picture seems genuine. What do you think?

Wow! I can’t imagine there being any doubt about it. The photo’s of a real ghost alright. And an angry one at that. Why is it red? Background color or the ghost’s own hues of anger ?

  • Eysiel says:

It could very well be genuine. However, it is always a good idea to question the authenticity of a ghost photograph or video. This could very well be fake, also, a photoshop job. It’s obvious the blur didn’t come from moving the camera, because the bricks are very clear. Still, these days, there’s a ton of technology to add a little something to a photo.

That is a very interesting picture, but it’s impossible to tell if it’s real or fake from just looking at it. However I do myself believe in ghosts and need no proof.

  • Mark says:

I believe this is one of the true ghost stories out there that hasn’t been faked in any way…….As the man comments in the video……..”Its either a real photo of a ghost or it was done with a photographic technique that I don’t know about”………You go figure??? But i think he should know what hes on about don’t you???? Its a shame the mansion has been pulled down as it did have historic & paranormal values….Its just like Waverly Hills Sanatorium in Louisville Kentucky that almost had the same fate but luckily that building still remains standing……Well if that is the ghost of Irene O’Haire ( & I don’t think we will ever know for sure) I hope now she rests in peace now that her former home has been pulled down.

I remember seeing this documentary on CBS on Halloween night when I was a teenager, Now I am 45 years old and it STILL creeps me out. One of the best and scary shows I have seen. The show had good videos and photos (orbs, mist, videos, pictures, professionals video/photo techs) and this was either in late 80’s or early 90’s.

I remember seeing this on TV. It shown experts examining the picture and when they tweaked the colour/contrast of the picture (or whatever they did) the face turned into a skull.

  • Loren says:

If The Mansion Is No Longer In Service As Of Being Rented Or Having Tours , If Its Totally Blocked Off From The People Then It Could Very Well Be A Pink / Red Apperition .

  • mathew says:

@loren from what I recall the house was demolished because of the attention this picture and the video got sparking tresspassers on the land of the property owner.

  • Guy Winters says:

All these years later, and it still is something you dont forget, not even for a minute. Im still here! P.S. it was never about was about her, IRENE .
